Our team has committed to raise a minimum of €1500 to finance the actions of Oxfam France and we hope that with your support, this will be possible. Like Oxfam, we also believe that the sum of the individual commitments is the key to accomplishing more and building a world fairer for all. We are a team of four ( Sophie from France, Loic from France, Emma from UK and David from Australia) who met through Power Hiking Paris, a community of hikers from all over the world, offering dynamic hikes every weekend in Ile de France and occasionally extended weekends in the region as well as big hiking trips abroad (). The annual Oxfam Trailwalker is an international event that began in 1981, where thousands of walkers around the world have taken part in the challenge of traversing 100 kilometers in under 30 hours in order to help collect funds that help finance programmes in favour of a fairer world. Oxfam () is an international confederation of 20 NGOs working with partners in over 90 countries to end the injustices that contribute to poverty. In today's world one out of three people suffer from poverty.
